The room was brilliant; very cozy and modern. The breakfast was the best so far after 12 days hiking the Rheinburgenweg and Rheinsteig. The location is right on the Rheinsteig and just off the Altstadt…perfect. I really hated to leave in the morning rain. My Treasure, the manager, asked me to take a ssndwich from the breakfast for lunch. Then she gave me an apple when I checked out. This place knows how to make you feel at home.

The ability to buy snacks & water onsight. The tea kettle being available, the garden, very nice and helpful family run the hotel. Lovely village and Castle but note doesn't open until 10am and you need to go on a tour of 1 hour.

Rooms are spacious. Garden outside where you can relax. Sauna (which we did not use). Braubach is a small village with a Netto supermarket, a couple of restaurants... lots of nice hikes possible around.
